Support for Start-ups of the National Register "Elevate Greece" in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic

Information sheet for submitting applications for financing investment projects in the Action

The new Program "Support for Start-ups of the National Register" Elevate Greece "in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic" was announced in the framework of the NSRF 2014 - 2020. The main goal is to strengthen start-ups included in the National Register of Start-ups "Elevate Greece" grant as working capital to cover their expenses.

Enhancing the entrepreneurship and liquidity of start-ups / innovative small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the areas of Smart Specialization - RIS3, of the National Register of Start-ups "Elevate Greece", under the adverse conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, which worsened prolonged exacerbation in the affected KAD. The aid will be made in the form of grants (working capital), so that companies remain viable and jobs are not lost.

Start-up innovative small and medium-sized enterprises registered in the National Register of Start-ups (EMNE) "Elevate Greece"

Submission period

from 16/3/2021 to 30/9/2021 (time 15:00)

 

Applications are submitted electronically to the State Aid Information System  www.ependyseis.gr/mis .

The evaluation of the submitted applications is done in order of priority (first in - first out), according to: the date and time of electronic submission to PSKE, the total public funding of the Invitation and the maximum funding amount of 100,000 euros given the adequacy of the budget .

It is pointed out that there will be no grading of the applications, only a confirmation of the observance of the conditions of participation.

Terms and conditions

Businesses must, inter alia, meet the following conditions:

  • to be registered in the National Register of Start-ups (EMNE) "Elevate Greece", established and maintained at the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation, Directorate for Support of Research and Innovation Actions, Department of Innovation

  • the business activity is compatible with the field of the national smart specialization strategy RIS3

  • be very small, small or medium-sized enterprises,

  • to have started by 31/12/2020

  • to be active in one of the eligible KAD, in accordance with Annex I of the Detailed Invitation Eligible ACTIVITIES (KAD)

  • to operate exclusively with one of the following types of corporate / commercial enterprises: IKE, LTD, SA, established in Greece, or capital companies based abroad, which have a branch in Greece, as long as it has a Greek VAT number and is registered in the General Commercial Register (GEMI)

  • to keep haplographic or diplographic books of law 4308/2014

  • have submitted an income tax and VAT return (if subject) for the reference year 2019 on time, in accordance with tax legislation, or Responsible Declaration

  • for all companies that choose 2020 as the reference year, the total amount of public funding that the beneficiary company will receive should not exceed the total nominal value of the total ceiling of 1,800,000 euros.

 

What is funded

The public funding covers working capital up to 80% of the company's expenses for the reference year (2019 or 2020) with a minimum grant amount of 5,000 euros and a maximum of 100,000 euros.

The beneficiaries choose the year in which they made the highest working capital expenditures, specifically in 2019 or 2020, on which the requested grant amount will be calculated.

The subsidy of the beneficiary companies with costs equal to or more than the amount of 125,000 euros amounts to 100,000 euros.

Businesses are not subsidized in case the result of the audit proves a sum of expenses less than 6,250 euros.

The amounts on which the exact amount of the grant will be calculated are the sum of: purchases of consumer goods, purchases of raw materials and consumables, total benefits to employees (excluding those engaged in agricultural - biological activities), various operating expenses.
