Development, Promotion and Utilization of the Unified Identity -

Quality Label of Products and Services of the Agri-Food Sector

Description

The country's strategy during the programming period 2014-2020, in the field of agri-food, focuses on the transformation of the structural weaknesses of the sector into strong competitive advantages, following a strategy of differentiation, based on the superior quality and the special characteristics of the products.
In this context is included the policy of production of high quality raw materials for the manufacturing industry (and internationally), utilizing the special climatic and territorial characteristics of the country.
At the same time, the main goal is to strengthen the export orientation of agri-food products and services related to their use / utilization (eg catering, trade), to create the conditions for enhancing the recognition of Greek products in the world market, as well as their effective integration in international networks of production and marketing of products and services.

 

To this end, the proposed project includes the following components:
1. Formulation of a Strategy for the development of a single identity / quality label for the products of the agri-food sector and the related services that use / utilize these products,
2. Development of a Certification System for the quality of the products produced in the agri-food sector, adapted to international practices,
3. Development of a Certification System for the quality of the provided services that use / utilize certified products of the agri-food sector, adapted to international practices,
4. Design and implementation of promotion actions - promotion of the recognition of the single identity / brand of products / services of the agri-food sector in Greek companies,
5. Promotion and promotion of products of the agri-food sector in selected international markets, through the promotion and consolidation of the single identity / brand of its products / services.

 

The physical object of the project includes the following actions:
Action 1
: Strategic study for the development of a single identity / quality label for the products of the agri-food sector and the services directly related to them.
Action 2 : Development of a Quality Certification Scheme for Greek products in the agri-food sector.
Action 3 : Development of a Quality Certification Scheme for agri-food services
Action 4 : Promotion actions - promotion of the unified identity / quality mark of the agri-food sector in the companies of the sector
Action 5 : Design and implementation of Actions to promote the unified identity of products / services in the agri-food sector, to the general consumer public
Action 6 : Implementation of Actions for the promotion and promotion of the unified identity of services in the agri-food sector
Action 7 : Development of actions to promote the unified identity of the agri-food sector in international markets

Budget

The indicative budget of the action amounts to € 34,490,000 (public expenditure).

Estimated date of issue of the invitation : B 'quarter 2017

Duration of investment projects : 48 months.
