Creation / upgrade of quality control and innovation laboratories in the Peloponnese Region

Submission Schedule Information  financial aid proposals 

The program strengthens existing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)  apply new organizational methods to their business practices, organize workplaces and apply new or improved production or distribution methods by creating or  upgrading quality control and innovation laboratories in areas of the Strategy  Research and Technology for Smart Specialization  of the Peloponnese Region (RIS3), which resulted from the relevant Business Discovery process.

 Specifically in the areas:  

  • Agri-food sector - food - beverages

  • Productive processing enterprises of the construction sector, production of wood products, metal products, non-metallic mineral products, production of plastic items, packaging items, machinery, instruments and construction materials.
     

The eligible CADs corresponding to the above sections are described in detail in Annex VII: Table  Eligible Activities (EQF). The program provides the following assistance:

A) Investment aid for tangible and intangible assets pursuant to Article 14 of Regulation (EU) 651/2014

B) Innovation expenditure for SMEs based on Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 651/2014  which include the following categories of actions:

  • Expenditure on intangible assets

  • Posting costs for highly qualified staff

  • Expenditure on consulting and support services in the field of innovation

The planned  The project must be incentive and for this purpose the work of the supported research project must not have started before the submission of the application by the beneficiaries.

Start of submissions: 15/5/2018

  Closing of submissions: 16/7/2018 (time 15:00)

 

Target Audience

Businesses  regardless of their legal form, operating or  will be active in the Peloponnese Region in the sectors:

  • Agri-food sector - food - beverages

  • Productive processing enterprises of the construction sector, production of wood products, metal products, non-metallic mineral products, production of plastic items, packaging items, machinery, instruments and construction materials.

What is funded

The main categories of eligible costs are the following:

  • Buildings, facilities and surrounding area

  • Machinery and other equipment

  • Software and software services

  • Environmental protection and energy saving costs

  • Innovation costs


The start date for the eligibility of expenditure is the date of submission of the funding application. The subsidized budget of each investment proposal  can range from 30,000 to 300,000 €. The duration of implementation of the projects is up to 2 years from the issuance of the decision to include the project.
