Agri-Food Sector Support
A new NSRF action is expected to strengthen the agri-food sector.
The new program will promote green and precision agriculture oriented investments, with an emphasis on co-financing (50% co-financing average) to combine companies and cooperative schemes of the primary, secondary and tertiary sector, aiming at innovation and extroversion.
The program of strengthening the agri-food sector also includes contract farming.
The budget of the program will amount to 520 million euros.
The program will enter the development phase before the Greek proposal for the Recovery Fund "Greece 2.0" receives approval from the European Commission in the summer.
Based on the new philosophy that will govern the Recovery Fund, the program will start until the fall and will remain open until the exhaustion of its budget.
