Digital Business Upgrade - Crete

Information sheet for submitting applications for financing investment projects in the Action

The new Digital Upgrade Action aims at the digital upgrade of the very small, small and medium enterprises of the Region of Crete.

Submission Period:

Start of Submissions: March 12, 2020 

Deadline for Submissions: May 12  2020

Beneficiaries of the Action:

Existing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, which before the date of electronic submission of the application for funding:

  • 1. to be active or to be active, as well as to carry out the corresponding expenses in the Region of Crete, including the SBAA areas,

  • 2. to have the declared KAD (s) before submitting their investment proposal (ANNEX IV: TABLE OF ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES (KAD),

  • 3. be very small, small or medium-sized enterprises, in accordance with Annex I of Regulation (EU) no. 651/2014

  • 4. have closed at least two (2) full fiscal years lasting twelve months.

 

Investment Plans & Subsidy 

Investment plans from 5,000 euros to 15,000 euros. 

100% of the eligible costs are subsidized.

Basic Conditions for Participation

   Businesses should:  

  •   Do not belong to an already organized uniform network for the distribution of products or the provision of services, which is exploited under relevant contracts under licenses of intellectual property rights, which usually concern trademarks or distinctive signs.
    titles and know-how for the use and distribution of goods or services (eg franchising, shop in shop, agency network), and operates in one of the program-legal forms.

  • To operate legally by having the appropriate, in accordance with the current legislation, operating license

  • Submit expenditure that has not been funded and has not been included in another program funded by national or Community funds

  • Not to have been imposed on them within a period of two (2) years before the expiration date of the deadline for submission of applications: 
    a) three (3) acts of imposition of a fine by the competent auditing bodies of the Labor Inspection Body for violations of the labor legislation that are characterized, according to the u.a. 2063 / Δ1632 / 2011 (ΒΔ 266), as in each case, as "high" or "very high" severity, which result cumulatively from three (3) audits performed, or b) two (2) fines imposed by the competent auditing bodies of the Labor Inspection Body for violations of the labor legislation related to undeclared work, which result from a total of two (2) audits carried out.
    Penalties under a) and b) must have acquired final and binding force.

  • To make an investment proposal per TIN, exclusively in only one Region

  • To submit an investment plan that concerns an eligible KAD.

 

Subsidized Expenses

Hardware - up to 100% of the subsidized budget

  • Servers for hosting applications-software for investment purposes, with  its accompanying components (keyboards, screen, etc.) and the required operating system.

  • Wired and / or Wireless Network Equipment & cabling

  • Computers (Desktop / Laptop)

  • Office equipment (projectors, scaners, printers, etc)

  • ICT equipment related to the company's activities (eg Bar code readers, Interactive whiteboards) - up to 10% of the subsidized budget

Software - up to 100% of the subsidized budget

  • o   Office applications, antivirus etc.

  • o   Programs that help optimize production and business processes (eg ERP, SCMS, WMS, PMS CRM, HRMS etc)

Specialized software related to the activity of the company

  • Website development (should work in at least 2 languages) - up to € 2,000

  • Development and / or management of an e-shop (should operate in at least 2 languages) - up to € 4,500

Provision of services - up to 40% of the subsidized budget

  • Participation in Greek Electronic Markets (e-Marketplaces), whether they relate to B2C (Business to the final consumer) type activities, or B2B / B2E (business to business), for sales, purchases, promotion and product catalog, price comparison, participation in commissions, invoices and payments, participation in electronic tenders and auctions, etc. - up to € 3,000

  • o   Digital marketing services (eg google ads, facebook ads, presence on Social media) - up to € 1,000

  • o   Website translation services and / or online store - up to € 1,000

  • o   Registration, transformation and data transfer services - up to € 2,000

 

Expenditures are eligible from the date of publication of the call for this Action, ie 17/02/2020.
